Little pink flower focus stacked
I noticed my neighbour had this sweet little flower in her trough and thought it would be perfect to practise hand held focus stacking on. This is a stack of 8 at f3.2. This means the flower is sharp as 8 photos have been combined in the camera but the background remains blurred (what I desire at f3.2). In extras the image is at f8 which is what I would have needed to do (without focus stacking) to get the flower sharp but as you can see there is more detail in the background. It's not objectionable in this case but you will appreciate there are some circumstances where you don't want the detail in the background to be distracting.
