Hairy bud

I planted the two pasque flowers in the garden today, it's ten days since we bought them. I like to keep them indoors for a while in order to get the angles I want for photography and to see some of the new buds emerge. The main blip is a bud in the purple plant and the extra is a close up of the centre of the pink plant. Both contain 6 images focus stacked.
While I was out gardening Rob was cutting the grass and turning over the compost. We started this bin in June so it's had 9 and half months and is one third full. I was really excited to see the mixture under the top layer has started turning to mulch. This gives me confidence that the mixture of peelings, cardboard and grass that we are putting in there is doing the job. We don't plan to use it in the garden till Spring 2026.
