Sleepy head

On a morning, when for the first time since last October our three hives of Bees were given their first inspection. The result was, we are down to our last two colonies, the ravages of winter accounting for one. 
Dandelion pollen and nectar will be their main source of food over the coming months as each colony expand through the spring build up. 
Dandelion pollen is yellowy orange.
