West End

Back in the West End today to the cinema with my younger daughter. We went to see ‘Drive-Away Dolls’, an American road comedy directed by Ethan Coen. It would not be to everyone’s tastes and indeed an elderly couple near the front walked out pretty soon after it started, I guess they had not read the subject matter. It was fairly short at 84 minutes, had some funny moments and suited us fine for a Saturday afternoon film. Coffee and a wander afterwards then train home. 
The skies always look especially blue over Ashton Lane, perhaps the lanes with the whitewashed buildings emphasise the colour.
