Rules

It was GREAT not to wake up too early today. We pottered around mostly trying to sort out what to do with two cakes. Breakfast was a slice of each. I enjoyed doing a bit of organising/tidying up in the kitchen, and then we got dressed and headed to Business Bay to pick up my cousin and her son to take them to Dubai Mall.

She had tickets booked for At the Top, so we walked her to the entrance. It was heaving in the mall today. G & I went to look at cameras, then ended up in M&S for a toastie. We were going to wait to meet up with Sarah again, but I managed to get a short-notice haircut appointment for G, so we left. It's just as well because Sarah finally got in touch to say it had taken hours to get up to the 126th floor and back down again because of the number of visitors.

I had a quiet evening at home, enjoying homemade aloo keema and then clearing space on the SSD of my laptop. It's an exercise that is long overdue. I hadn't backed up my pictures for well over a year. There were so many that I ran out of space on my portable hard disk!

G had the camera for most of the time today, so I was glad when I saw these Rules hanging on the wall in the salon. :)) No. 2 and 6 stand out for me.
