Birthday lunch

The cleaner came this morning. It's his second time on his own. He seems to be OK. G left the flat, taking the recycling with her.

I had the option to cancel the lunch we'd planned with Jessica, but I felt I could manage the relatively simple meal I had in mind when I picked the restaurant. I'm glad we went ahead as we had a fantastic time eating delicious food and chatting about all that's been happening in the world since we last met. Three hours vanished in no time. I have to say, we weren't actually inside the restaurant due to an a/c glitch.

The hotel that it's in is right opposite the Museum of the Future.
No more food until the end of the day. No mundane housework has been done today.
