Grandsons Corey and Tyler and Arthur.
I stayed up late on Saturday evening watching bands at Glastonbury and knitting a pink pram rug to sell on the Knit and Natter stall at the Rishton Festival. Arthur stayed indoors as it rained all evening.
My knitting skills are very humble indeed and there are many in the group who excel at complicated patterns and toys.
So I got up a bit later than usual for a Sunday, washed, dressed had a quick breakfast and walked to the Church for Christian Fellowship.
Then in the afternoon we went to Feniscowles, near Witton, Blackburn, to visit my son and family.
It wasn't nice enough weather to go and fly the toy glider planes Paul bought for them, but that is something they can enjoy during the week after school.
Sports day at school last week was successful for Corey's team and they won a prize. Sports are more collaborative in Primary schools these days.
The boys are over the moon to have swapped bedrooms with their Mum and Dad and now have a big floor space on which to play with their models and dinosaurs.
The evening TV looks promising with the final episode of the Amish Community in America and the third part of The White Queen. More knitting as well while watching!
Paul and me are going to try out a new recipe for curried salmon that was kindly given to me by a young woman who came to shop at One Planet.
I will let you know how it tastes and share the recipe with anyone who would like it. No chillies as I prefer milder flavours.
Have a good Sunday evening fellow blippers.
