Spotted in Shepshed
Richard and I drove to Shepshed - a Leicestershire village - to meet up with Erin, R's niece. Her birthday was the same day as mine, so this was a post-birthday lunch outing.
On the way through the village, we found this imposing creature, reminding us of the importance of wool in the village's past. A little online searching revealed that it's a newly-completed piece of work by this guy:
