Decompression
I got home last night at 2 am. Today has been a day of decompression- unpacking, washing and checking on the duty free purchases of bargain gin. Tea in a pot - that’s a novelty after a week of teabag dipped into a glass of hot water. And Spanish digestive biscuits : thinner than ours but tasting just the same.
And I’m having to cook my own dinner after multiple choices in the hotel buffet restaurant.
The year is progressing. I went out to do a bit of tidying in the garden this afternoon. To my joy I found that a large shrub I thought was dead is now sending out shoots. And tulips are blooming. Spring is here.
Back to normal.
