Three happy boys

In Ikea yesterday, we found one of their kiddy kitchens in the Circular Hub - where they sell off returns and imperfect items.  In consultation with Z, we bought it.  It was an immediate hit with Casper - he was apparently up and playing with it at 5.30 this morning.  He's already developing an ability for pretend play, stirring enthusiastically at this bowl with his spoon.

This morning, we took the older two boys to a toy shop to get early birthday presents.  They didn’t find it easy to choose, but with a little guidance, I think we've succeeded in getting presents that are going to engage them for a while.

We then had lunch with R, G and the boys in the shopping centre.  

And finished the day off with Z and S, where W finished constructing a box to cover the underfloor heating controls, then Z cooked a lovely veggie lasagne for our dinner.
