Wound up in Wexford

By Neatwithice

Again ...

I did do other things today - two loads of washing hung out and dried, picked another bunch of daffodils from our verge.

But the time spent in the sewing room and the almost finished Mariner's Compass block was what gave me most pleasure.  There's still an octagon to sew into the centre.

It was tempting to try to complete it, but I have to remind myself it's not a race, there's really no rush, pressure to finish is absolutely counter producive to the satisfaction.  And I was ready for a break at that point.  So I stopped.  And came downstairs.  And enjoyed the beautiful red evening sky from my seat in the garden room.
