Big engines on a small branch line.

The Lakeside and Haverthwaite Railway has started its season by bringing in two guest locomotives.  Pictured above is 46441, an Ivatt designed 2-6-0 built in 1946.  The extra shows Leander, a Jubilee Class 4-6-0 designed by Stanier and built in 1934.  They were both running during the past weekend but Leander will be returning to Carnforth tomorrow by road.
