CANOODLING
It was grey and chilly in the park this afternoon and all the Springtime shots I wanted looked dark and dreary until the parakeets came to the rescue with some colour that actually shows up in the photo.
Our care home choir performance yesterday was lovely and everyone was really joining in and participating except that at 3pm, which coincided with our short break in the middle of the programme, we were told that most of the audience needed to be bussed back to their care home (we were in a sort of community café). So we sang the second half to just a handful of dementia patients and their carers but they all joined in with gusto. It's amazing how much music resurfaces when other memories are fading.
