Bus service resumes

After an absence of 9 months, the weekday bus service to Kendal has resumed. You get less time in Kendal, but it’s better than no bus at all. Maybe this is part of the Levelling Up fund! Sadly the new provision is not as good as the old service. And if we were being levelled up, we would have more than 2 buses a day. It will be reassessed later this year, but it doesn’t look like they think it will last as the sign on the front says Kirkby Stephen, which is about 10 miles in the other direction. It doesn’t look like they expect it to last. Sadly nobody got on it today. I just wanted to check in was running as I lack belief in the system. I will be using it on Thursday though….
