A busy Wednesday

My usual visit to the market was followed by a visit to the weekly coffee morning at St Andrews. I was going to remind/inform people that we would be holding a meeting on the reduction of the bus service in Sedbergh on Thursday to set up a Bus Users Group. We don’t have one, and our commercially run route has been cancelled. Replaced by volunteer run buses. Funnily enough, we don’t have a bus group and this happened. All the places with bus groups had their services improve. Odd that! More on this tomorrow
So the rest of my day was jam packed too. I went to my art group in the afternoon. In the evening I went to an author talk featuring Adam Farrer who talked about his new book Broken Biscuits: and other male failures. An entertaining session and the book is available in audio so I will get it.
We then decided to go along the road for a drink and ended up taking part in a pub quiz. We had great fun.. and managed to come third (out of 4) :-))
