Well, at least there are still a number of ATMs scattered about.  Offhand I know of in excess of five.  I read recently that "PENRITH BANK CLOSURES BEGINS WITH LLOYDS AND HALIFAX SET TO CLOSE ON TUESDAY".
      Sayest thou so bonny lad/lass?  We used to have a T S B "one supper time". ( ©  Steve "Farmer" Taylor RIP)  It became LLOYDS No.2 for a few microseconds then ceased.
      BEWARE the cashless society!  Check, sometime on the truly CASHLESS society if you DARE.

      I've been unable, thus far, to find when LLOYDS Penrith Branch opened, but next door was a bit easier:-

      LLOYDS itself was a lot easier:-
"Formerly called Lloyds Bank plc (1865–1999), Lloyds TSB Bank plc (1999–2013) " - SO - The locals weren't all that far behind?
