Shot of the Week?

       In lieu of a Kingfisher?  All week all we saw was a DISTANT, probably blue, flash; vanish into the very distant hedge. 
       Not even many Herons.  This one, however, was spotted, on the Tow-path not that far ahead.  Quietish Boat - SO - to be sure, I took shots as we approached; intending to post the best.
HOWEVER
       When s/he finally took off s/he decided that the vegetation was too high/close to "hurdle", did an about face and passed us on its escape route.

       I'd kinda "tarted it up" to show A. N. Other and decided to leave it as is. I've not located it for the simple reason. that I hadn't a ruddy CLUE where I was.
       I goofed - MIGHTILLY.  I thought they were spread over a few days - EXIF tells me they were all today's.
