"Chore" #3

We have the internet!  First time since November.     Perfect dry calm day to go pick up the internet guy and the tree climber …Noah is an arborist who is endorsing climbing with ropes rather than those spurs on his shoes.…better for the trees.   So He has this huge slingshot that he shoots over a limb where he wants to be (only took maybe 5 tries) and then he “walks" up the rope after jumping on it to test it…..it went to maybe 15 feet short of the old radio.  So he did have to climb a bit to replace the old dead radio  (diagnosed by our son in Nov.  we were told it was the router so we got a new one which didn’t make the internet connect either ) with the new white  (better) circle hanging off his belt and voila! we are connected.   Success!
  And I admit that makes me happy.     And we have 2 more days to do whatever…. the day today got better and better…..
Extra: to give you a better idea of how big the tree is…in the main photo Noah is almost not quite to the right spot.  If you look large he’s about 1/5 down from the top of the photo on the central sloping fir.    It picks up the signal from the bluff above Montague Harbor.   Very fun, a bit scary, to watch.
