FOLKESTONE

After our usual croissant breakfast and a slow start, we decided to walk into Folkestone town. Unfortunately, C finds walking quite painful and so we had to put in various stops.
#our first stop was on the “Happy to chat” bench. It’s like Folkestone dating app. Sadly, no one came to talk to us.:)))
# the next stop was a coffee stop.
#We enjoyed walking around the streets of Folkestone, but sadly, as it was Monday, nearly all the shops were shut!!
#we walked down to the harbour to find somewhere to have lunch, but again everything was shut so we had to walk back into town where we found an Italian restaurant.
#The service was great. Bellini were wonderful. The food was just okay.

#While C rested again, L and I walked along to Sunny Sands Beach. It was not sunny?!?
L and I had a good heart to heart about The Rev’s cancer diagnosis. (Sadly both C and L are cancer survivors from the last six years)
#loved this mermaid and glad we got our photo in before a couple of school boys came to give her a hug (need I say more!!)
# I signed our name in the sand :))
We got a taxi back as it was uphill
#L got us a buffet together for tea…C made the cocktails. I sorted the DVD for our evening entertainment.
