Narcissus Poëticus

My latest vase of daffodils, bought on Monday afternoon and which had only started blooming this morning. It was a lovely surprise to see them first thing, as you never know when you buy cut daffodils what they’re going to look like when they open out. These are otherwise known as Pheasant’s Eye or Poet’s Narcissus.

Wednesdays are usually spent with my sister. I went over to hers today and we had a good catch-up. We have both managed to resist the terrible temptation to eat the Easter eggs we’ve got stashed away for the family. Only a couple more days to go, then hopefully we’ll each have our own eggs to eat legitimately!
