Pond Gardens
Today in Tokyo we joined our Japanese Garden Tour group. We were introduced to the strolling pond garden. My main photo is the Ni-no-maru Garden in the grounds of the Imperial Palace. The prominent smooth-barked trees with twisty stems are a species of Crepe Myrtle.
The extra is Koishikawa Korakuen Garden, also in central Tokyo.
We were also introduced to the challenging Buddhist concept nothing is everything and everything is nothing - I have lots to think about tonight!
