Osmanthus delavayi
Following on from yesterdays shot of the Great Tit in the Osmanthus I thought I would blip the flowers while they are still here.
The Osmanthus is an evergreen shrub that flowers in spring. The flowers are fragrant so the standard advice is plant near a path so you can enjoy the scent. The references say "sometimes reaches 6ft but usually a lower more compact bush". Ours clearly hasn't read the book as it is nearer 8ft.
