Chitted

This year's seed potatoes are Swift, a first early. I need to get them planted soon. I got them from a place near Dundee and I have high hopes. I only have six chitting in an egg box. I grow them for a bit of fun. The children like to dig them up. They'll be planted in containers and I hope we'll have some tasty tatties later in the year. 

We have a friend from Edinburgh coming for lunch. She is bringing her daughter's dog so we will go for a walk before before we eat. It's milder today but still damp. 

For many people today is a solemn one. For others the start of a holiday. For others just a day. Whatever you're doing have an enjoyable time.
