Greenfinch

It was sitting in my next door neighbour's walnut tree singing its rather raucous song. At first I thought it was a siskin but I am pretty sure it's a greenfinch. Nice to see on a chilly, grey day. I believe that the temperature is going to improve from tomorrow and I must say that will be welcome. 

Out early with Flora for a good long walk. Back to domestic chores and preparation for my son and grandson visiting later for a sleepover. It's great that my grandson can manage the car journey without his leg getting sore.
