One Swallow -----

doesn't make a summer but summer was here today! We went to friends for high tea (!) and sat in their garden in the sun watching swallows swoop overhead. Our friends have a lovely spot in the country just outside Louth and have owls, swallows nesting in their barn, rabbits, hares, stoats and weasels, lots of birds, a badger that takes an evening walk in their garden and a newish pond that is already alive with newts, damselfies and water boatmen. A lovely place.
And swallows are very difficult to catch on a camera as their speed is so amazing.
Tonight we went to the local theatre to hear Miles Jupp! Busy day.
