Now, as I see it......

Wissington

The first day of Easter running on the railway and this was the first run for several years by 'Wissington'.  Wissington was built in 1938 for the British Sugar Corporation and spent virtually it's entire working life at the BSC factory at Wissington, near Kings Lynn.  In February 1978 it was donated to the railway and after being on static display for several years was brought back into working order in 2010 after two years work and a cost of £70,000.

For the last couple of years it has been on loan to the Mid Suffolk Light Railway but returned to Sheringham in January.  Being only a small engine it can't manage a full set of coaches but this small 'Victorian' set is ideal.  Even with a fairly light train, it was still working hard up that hill behind it.
