Friday: Cooking Up A Storm
Cherry blossom season has always been one of those our favourite times of year in Vancouver (see extra). And today turned into a stunningly sunny day which also added to the atmosphere.
We’ve had a very social day of several parts. We started off at Granville Island where we so enjoyed seeing all the fresh produce. We then met Uncle E and Auntie V for a lovely lunch at ‘Fat Mao’ in Chinatown. We knew them before we ever moved to Vancouver and they have been steadfast friends over many years.
We then did a beer and wine run, partly to take some back and partly to take to people’s houses. As was the case this evening - we were invited to K&P’s for dinner. As usual, they cooked up a storm. Halibut cheeks in a whole pack of butter…….
