Buckinghamshire countryside

On my way home from the nature reserve today I could not resist stopping to take this shot of a pastoral landscape. Not only have the fields been turned into something from a science fiction film, in the background is the new 115 acre Arla mega-dairy which is approaching completion. It will process one billion litres of milk each year! It is sited less than a mile from the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and looks totally out of place. However, it is expected to create around 700 new jobs in the area. Such are the complications in countryside politics.
