Latest repair challenge via the IT department. A relatively new ~£800 Sony A6400 with 16-50mm kit lens. Camera in a state, with cement all over the place, and scratches, but it does seem to be working. The lens is "goosed", to put it politely. Lens caps, camera body cap, and strap? Nowhere to be seen. Gave the exterior a fairly thorough cleaning, and it looked better, plus the dials were less gritty when operated. Later, at home, ordered the appropriate lens and body caps with a view to protecting the camera and front lens element whilst dismantling the lens and trying to unseize it  Will attempt that in the cleaner environment of home, rather than the cramped workshop.
