Blue Jay

Another gorgeous perfect day here on the coast. I think it was about 75, slight breeze and the bluest sky. Stayed up a bit late watching movies last night so this morning I sat and read my Coastal Living magazines out on the deck. It was glorious to just sit and enjoy my coffee with a magazine. Don't get to do that very often. I Listened to the birds sing. The blue jays came to take their daily nuts I have for them in the feeder. The hummingbirds flitted by. Yes, a glorious morning.

Yesterday morning I met up with a friend who wanted me to do a charity dog walk. My dogs are up in Newberg so I walked one of hers. Well, they had a drawing and I won a gift certificate to a restaurant we hadn't been to. So today we decided to use it. We both had fish tacos. They were yummy! Had a cup of clam chowder and a pint of cold beer with it. Some friends ended up coming in just as we were finishing up so we stayed and visited with them. They are an interesting couple and we enjoyed our conversation.

Now, we are going to settle in for the night and watch a movie
