New Bamboo

I have always heard that bamboo can spread super fast. Now I know what they mean. Our black bamboo is popping up everywhere! This little sprout is about 4' high. Last week there were some this size that are now about 15' high!! yikes! Guess we need to get it under control before it takes over...

Today was gray, overcast and misty. Stayed in bed late. Went to work for a bit. We had a fabulous last day of the month!! Came home and walked around the yard. I'm not too relaxed anymore. I am just waiting for that dirty rat to jump out at me. eeeek. A blip friend told me about her husbands natural remedy. May have to give it a try. I'm just freaked knowing it's there :( We have those little ants too so I may just have to call some kind of critter getter and take care of all these unwanteds.

I did an early weigh in just to see and I'm down another 2 lbs for a total of 10!! yippee! Makes it worth the effort :)

Please keep those fighting fires in Colorado in prayers as well as those affected by these terrible fires. Too, in Pocatello Idaho, they are also fighting a large fire.
