Lesson 12 : The Fire Trail

We had our first serious, lengthy ride today on the fire trail along the ridge below Narrow Neck. It’s not a public road, it’s scenic, miles from civilisation and testing for motorcyclists but isbi blitzed it (see extra).
I’ve always been fascinated by the gums along the ridge - they look like ordinary grey gums but their colour can change to a yellow ochre colour or a darker grey at differing times of the year. There are thousands of them, there’s one in the main blip.
