Zen

Today we travelled by Shinkansen (bullet train) to Kyoto. There we visited a number of gardens, some with almost no plants. Such as this ‘modern’ (1930s) take on a traditional Zen garden by the landscape artist Morei Shigemori. This is part of the Hasso Garden in the Tofuku-ji Temple.
