Silly Saturday ...

... out for a ride.

On our way to Jacobsburg State Park this afternoon we were following this car.  The dog kept sticking his head out the window.  So I was left with no other choice but to blip him for Silly Saturday.  I know the picture is terribly out of focus ... but what do you expect!  I've run the photo through Topaz Studio hoping it would help with the blurriness. It hasn't!

We were hoping to see some wood frogs at the Jacobsburg vernal pools but we seem to have missed our opportunity.  As the pool is slightly off the trail Richard checked it out first so that I wouldn't have to navigate through the woods if there was nothing to see.  And there wasn't.  He did see some frog spawn so this makes us think that we are too late.  

From Jacobsburg we went to the Plainfield Rail trail for a quick walk.  We didn't see a lot of wildlife but there were lots of other walkers.

We made a quick stop at the grocery outlet before returning home for the night.  Later on we colored some Easter eggs as we still enjoy doing this ... as silly as that seems.  It brings back lovely memories of us traveling to my brother's house to color eggs with him and our niece ... who is now 23 and too old to color eggs!
