Sunday ...
... Funday.
Even though we are both busy getting the house ready for our holiday later this week ... Richard more so that me if I'm being honest ... we took some time for a nice walk at Louise Moore County park this afternoon.
But before that I spent some time in my happy place ... the greenhouse. It wasn't quite as warm as yesterday though.
It's a good thing that we don't throw out or give away any of our old cameras as I seem to be going through each one to see if it's the one I will take to Lake Lure this week. Today's camera was another one of Richard's ... a Nikon D7100. I'm almost liking this one more that the D750 I tried the other day. But time will tell.
It took me about 100 crappy pictures before I figured some things out ... but I think I'm good now. And once I figured out what I was doing wrong with adjusting the shutter speed I was good to go. This shot of a lovely female Downy woodpecker was actually shot before I realized the shutter speed was only 1/80th of a second. So I was rather pleased that it was in focus.
