RSPB Black Devon Wetlands
Today we visited Black Devon Wetlands nature reserve for the first time. It is part of the RSPB’s Inner Forth conservation project with areas of wetland to support birds and wildfowl along with frogs, insects etc. Access is from a housing estate and there are masses of electricity pylons around but once you get into the reserve it is beautifully peaceful. Lots of birdsong in the trees and reed beds, and a small number of birds on the water including tufted ducks, little grebe and a heron (in extra).
