Anatole's blips

A riot of colour at the RHS gardens in Wisley

Sunday afternoon was heaving at the RHS gardens in Wisley. But you don't have to walk far to escape the crowds. Whilst most of the spring flowers are now well and truly over, some are just getting into the swing of things. This lot were superbly gaudy but I got so enthusiastic taking pictures that I forgot to check what they were. Any ideas ???

The handkerchief trees were utterly spectacular, but difficult to photograph with the harsh sun burning them out. Really need to get there first thing in the morning like btc does for his shots, but I am not good at the early bird.
