Happy Easter

Happy Easter if you celebrate. 

Happy International Transgender Day of Visibility. I went to the church service which was on this theme and the minister’s words were poetry. My Formal Youth Advisor is on Spring Break in California but, fortunately, I had a 14 year old who modeled for mom and submitted a winning picture. That person talked about Nex, the 16 year old from California who died. The session ended with a question about how the process made the models and photographers feel and I was delighted that my two people both said it was a lot of fun. 

The mom of the 10 year old joked about all the different outfit changes her daughter wanted and it is true - I printed three pictures of her and in each one she’s in a different outfit. 

Then some people helped me pack them all up and put them in the closet. I’ll move them to the church in Bethesda soon. 

I had dinner with the friend who has been with me every step of the way and we discussed future artistic endeavors. He’s a genius. At the end of our evening he discussed things like black holes being donuts. He did it in a way that I could follow but it still made my head spin. He pointed out that black holes have to be insanely cold. It is true but I’d never thought about it. 

France said it will send hundreds of old armored vehicles and new surface-to-air missiles to Ukraine. 


Russia is pretending that Ukraine was responsible for the terror attack in Moscow. The US said Russian officials are "pretty good manure salesmen."


Ukraine banned hunting to limit ammunition use and people stepping on land mines. As a result, bears and lynxes are recovering.
