Granville Point
Mostly fabulous weather today. We managed to get up and out fairly early (considering there were four of us needing to use the bathroom, and we also did a fancy breakfast of eggs and avocado on toast) - and walked down to the seafront via our favourite route (round Granville Point). We carried on to the harbour and up Lantern Hill - where it proceeded to chuck it down on us, but we were able to take shelter in St Nicholas Chapel, so missed most of it. It brightened up beautifully again after that. We tried to go to the Lime Kiln cafe for coffees, but it was very busy, so instead we bought ice creams and coffees from a place by the harbour and walked back to Capstone Parade to eat/drink them on a bench there.
Dropped into Lidl on the way home, and picked up some salady bits for lunch. Had a nice relaxing afternoon, watched a Knight's Tale on TV, and I cooked us a salmon tray bake for dinner.
