In a Japanese garden
It’s back to typical wintery conditions today. Once upon a time, ie pre Covid ,Easter Monday was the start of the gardening season.
Not anymore. (We have climate change to thank for our increasingly long wet spells).
So, it was on with the hats, gloves, and scarves for an afternoon’s walk around the Japanese garden near Dollar.
Despite the temperature remaining stubbornly in single figures all day its always a pleasure to come here. The tearoom is a big attraction too.
The current exhibition of paper cranes (see extra) is the result of a community project involving both young people and adults. It’s all part of the philosophy behind the Japanese garden, a charity, commitment to becomes a valuable educational resource for the area.
