Monday: The Spit

Another scenic shot - I’ve been a bit light on the city and people shots today.

After breakfast we drove out to the Spit for a walk.  It’s now actually being dismantled which is interesting to see.  It used to be full of kite surfers but it’s being returned to nature as it interferes with the salmon run.  

We drove back to town and dropped Andrew off.  This is the last we’ll see of him for this trip.  K and I then stopped off for a sushi lunch - if truth be told, we weren’t particularly hungry but it was the one food we hadn’t yet had and that we were missing.

Over to P&J’s for takeaway pizza tonight - just like old times.
