Tuesday: The Best

Noodles……

But to take a step back, we checked out of our Airbnb and made a last excursion to Granville Island.  Bizarrely, we have been enjoying the food variety and range of produce there, more than we did previously.

We then drove back to our old neighbourhood, via the beaches, to pick up a few things we wanted to take back.  We went back to our old local supermarket and knew instinctively where everything was, which was odd. Lunch was in our old noodle venue just off the high street - it was our second visit while we were here and they were as good as ever.

We made a brief stop off in our old liquor store too.  I hope you won’t judge us when I say that we were greeted like long lost friends…….

We left Vancouver after lunch for the three hour drive to Seattle.  We’ve dropped off the hire car, and had a nice meal at the airport hotel.

I realize there’s a lot of stuff on memory lane today but it’s been very comforting.
