EIFF - part 2

From a black tie opening night to a black tie closing night - and all the films in between. Great that so many friends managed to get tickets AND we were invited to the champagne drinks reception first at the Festival Theatre before the screening of 'yet another happy ending'. Okay so 4.30pm on a Sunday afternoon is rather early to start drinking but hey its festival time in Edinburgh. We were nourished with free Mackie's ice-cream during the film and snaffled a few of the fish and chip pokes which were the canapés during the closing party at the amazing Caves. I avoided the whisky cocktails but did have a cheeky 12 year old Aberfeldy malt. Even though it was free bars I would have thought the alcohol would run out before the soft drinks. 'What do you mean you have no water'.
