Boats

18.3C with bright sunny spells and a light breeze.

Maeve the Deerhound and I enjoyed our walk down to the shore and along the beach today. There were big gaps in the clouds and the sun was shining. It was pleasantly warm.

I took a number of shots of the boats floating in the water. I chose this one as it shows the boats floating in the relatively sheltered gap between the rocks on one side of the main channel through the rocks. Their fore and aft ropes are tied to chains which are anchored to the rocks by large iron hoops.
