19.3C with long sunny spells. Light breeze.

Maeve the Deerhound and I went for our walk before lunchtime today just in case it got too hot for Maeve in the afternoon. Down at the beach the tide was at its lowest and the boats were all sitting on the sand, except for Shamara II which was moored out far enough to be floating.

There were several floats and three anchors suspended from the scaffolding frame of Tom's creel rack. The floats looked very colourful against the blue sky.

In the News today that the Open Championship will return to Carnoustie in 2018. Always a great boost for the town and the area. Not quite as much fun as the Links Challenge which comes each October where cameras are allowed (something that always amazes me but I have had fun taking pictures of the Pros and Celebs).
