2024 Saturday — Main Street South

We‘ve experienced rain all day; actually it started raining about 2:00 a.m. so more than 12 hours of rain. Middle of the afternoon, I left the house to go grocery shopping; I needed a few items for tomorrow’s Easter dinner. I also needed to put some mail into the dropbox at the post office. We are both anxious to get back to our coast home. When we knew we had a Thursday funeral here, we also knew we’d stay here to be with daughter Dede for Easter. We are both very glad that we are not driving through this rain for 4+ hours to get to the coast. We’ll head back Monday morning.

This photo is looking south toward the foothills of Corona. If I were going north, I’d be looking toward Mt.Baldy and also the San Bernardino mountains.
