A bit of a shed
Today began with breakfast and a lovely stroll around Woodhall Spa where Ms.Arell spotted a couple of relatively young Giant Sequioas that she estimated to be around 150 years old. They are already giant to my eyes but apparently have some room to impress further just yet!
After some fine tuning of our intercom system we set off south for our next stopover in Bedford. Approaching the halfway point we tried to 'enjoy' a picnic stop in a layby but soon got with the program and sought some peace by an urban lake in Peterborough which turned out to be so peaceful our short breather turned into a darn good meditation on blue sky and birdsong...honking Geese included.
Approaching Bedford we caught a glimpse of WW2 era Cardington Sheds that were built to house Airships and more recently the ginormous Airlander that we hoped to catch a glimpse of. No such luck and the place was almost deserted so we took some pics regardless.
Main blip is what looks like a garden shed that I imagine houses the controls to open the huge doors. For scale if you look at Ms.Arell's pic of the Sheds, the 'ickle shed is down to the right of the Hangar 1 sign at the corner of the ever so slightly larger one!
