On the Beach
In Dymchurch, Kent.
Today was an A to B day consisting of quite a lot of motorway miles. After a quick stop on the edge of Welwyn Garden City we hurtled down the A1(M) towards London before joining the dreaded M25 ringroad. Clinging on over a gusty Dartford Bridge across the 'dirty old river' (Thames...the Kinks lyric accurate once more) we peeled off into an industrial office park where thanks to our online mapping, a nice lil' cafe was to be found next to some water & various Quackers.
Following a contemplative 'after Baguette Beverage' your Gal followed lovely Ms Arell onto the M20 down into Kent in convoy with lots of truckers heading on their way to cross the Channel to France and an impatient BMW driver heading to the back of the next queue marginally quicker than everyone else ( please excuse my sarcasm ;-D )
A short number of miles prior to the roads end we diverted south descending onto a flat twisty B road to our next 2 nights lovely accomodation in Dymchurch on the coast.
Yes, we have had Fish & Chips for tea :-)
