Wednesday: Seattle Airport

We were up in good time for the early shuttle bus to the airport.  Everything went smoothly and SeaTac airport was easy enough to negotiate.  K’s hand luggage was pulled out for inspection at the x-ray machine on account of the crumpets we brought back.  Perhaps they thought we were going to crumpet the pilot to death …….anyway, they were allowed through so that’s good news.

The flight was relatively smooth and we’re now back in Belmopan.

We had no food in the house so went to Corker’s.  Probably not the best choice as G just gave us a download on the latest without showing any interest as to whether we’d enjoyed our trip or what we’d been up to.  Lack of interest or reciprocity in conversation is generally quite a bugbear of mine…….

Getting back to Vancouver was a real tonic and it was good to be reminded of a place we loved but, more importantly, the real friendships we made there.  It’s not too long until our next trip away…….
