Drove over to Risley for a full day mixed media workshop - the subject was ‘Seascapes’ . It took me ages to find the hall it was in and the car park was very poorly signed so I wasn’t in a very good mood when I arrived. We started off with some ‘exercises’ - ripping up pieces of wallpaper. Then we started working with paints and inks to colour paper, textiles, string etc. When we began I thought that I wasn’t going to enjoy the day , but as it progressed I changed my mind. I didn’t finish my piece , but will probably use some of the techniques to start again and make something a little better
